Understanding collaborators who analyze, evaluate and synthesize information (U6)
After School Japanese Lesson
INTRODUCTION
Do you want to learn Japanese? or if you are already learning Japanese, do you want to be a really fluent speaker as native? I started going to this After School Japanese lesson from the March in 2016. The reason why I chose this STANDARD, Understanding collaborators who analyze, evaluate and synthesize information (U6), was because I thought it would best describe how this class helps me strengthen my Japanese skill. As I am taking all the classes in this school in English, there are less chances to learn Japanese, and this is why I am taking this class, to build up on my Japanese skill. Understanding collaborator well describes how I behave in this class, because during most of the class, I talk with the teacher and other students to discuss about the questions. |
ARTIFACTS (EVIDENCE)
As explained in the Introduction section, we students discuss a lot about our problems with teachers. Basically, what we do during this class is to solve reading and writing problems. The teacher said that the whole point of this class is to encourage ourselves to discuss with each other about the problems, and I totally agree with this motto because this really helps us communicate more and discuss better. I think this strongly connects back to the STANDARD of this page, because we are being good understanders about the problems during this class. Also, there is about 15 minutes of time to talk with teacher after the class ends, and I always spend this time usefully to talk with teacher, which I hope strengthens my speaking skill as well. Here are the textbooks that I use in the After School Japanese Lesson. |
REFLECTION
I personally like this class very much, because the teacher is kind and her teaching is also really good that we can understand easily and clearly. These textbooks I mentioned as the artifacts, also really helps me out when it comes to learning more kanjis and more grammatical uses. Although it is really fun spending time using English at my school, I think it is very important to have more languages mastered, considering for the future-job, so I really appreciate and really respect the teacher in this class. After about a year of lesson in this class, I think my Japanese got even better than before, and my goal right now, is to be able to show a high skill of Japanese in my future college. I am currently planning to take several classes in Japanese when I'm going to the college, so it'd be really great and nice if I can show my high level of Japanese to everyone in there. |
